Summary
Building surveys of industrial and commercial properties provide clients with advice on the condition and suitability of proposed premises for occupation and investment. There are a large and diverse number of building types included within commercial and industrial property, as every premises excluding residential property can fall within the description. Nevertheless, the surveyor will adopt a similar scientific and methodical approach to ensure that all evidence is collated from the survey and expressed in a manner that the client can most easily understand. This section describes the process and techniques involved, and considers related aspects such as liability and risk assessment.
