Summary
This section considers the growth of modern methods of construction (MMC) since 2005 and discusses why the topic generates so much interest and the barriers to entry and certification. Detail is provided on the construction technologies that are being used, how to identify MMC in a completed project, the flexibility of the systems, and what to look out for when carrying out building inspections. It also summarises the developments in the industry resulting from legislation and climate change.
