Summary
In Britain and Western Europe we spend on average 80-90 per cent of our time indoors and the indoor environment may influence the health, comfort and productivity of occupants in buildings. This section discusses Sick Building Syndrome, building related illnesses, and allergy and environmental health problems, considering their symptoms, possible causes, health and safety issues, facilities management, preventative maintenance and a route to possible solutions.
